Method 1: Via Mobile
Follow these easy steps to make Pinterest boards private using your smartphone:
- Open Pinterest and tap on your profile picture from the bottom right corner.
- Select Boards from the top ribbon.
- Tap on the three dots and select Edit board.
- Turn the toggle on for Keep This Board Secret.
- Tap on Done to save your changes.
Now your board will not be visible to anyone.
Method 2: Via Desktop
You can also do the same from the web version of Pinterest, here’s how to do so:
- Log in to Pinterest and click on your profile picture.
- Select Saved from the top menu.
- Click on board of your choice.
- Tap the three dots and select Edit board.
- Check the box next to Keep This Board Secret to activate it.
- Once you are done click Done at the bottom of the page.
You have successfully made your board secret.
How to Make All Pinterest Boards Private
You can manually make your boards secret manually by following the same method as shown in the previous heading. Currently, it is not possible to make all Pinterest boards private with a single click.
